Erî-kari Fêqê (/ˈerɪ/ /ˈkari/ [resource] [cone]) is a subtropical Town located in the Ko-13nhun Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Erî-kari Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Erî-kari Fêqê was founded by Garêgfesí Êg̈mthêv, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Erî-kari Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 16°C (60°F). Erî-kari Fêqê receives an average of 218 cm/y (85 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Erî-kari Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1376 m (4514 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Erî-kari Fêqê was founded durring the early 14th century in spring of the year 1341, by Garêgfesí Êg̈mthêv. The establishment of Erî-kari Fêqê was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Garêgfesí Êg̈mthêv struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Erî-kari Fêqê as a prison colony.

Erî-kari Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Erî-kari Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Erî-kari Fêqê is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of premissive paverstone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Astonishigly, the millitarily questionable fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Erî-kari Fêqê is like looking into a university’s plaza on the day before an exam. People rush about to-and-fro. Discarded scrolls and quills are dotted around town. In spite of many locals discussing academic topics, there’s little sign of any organized groups for any of that talk. Infact, the town seems disordered in general with everything scattered helter skelter about.

Civic Infrastructure

Erî-kari Fêqê has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Erî-kari Fêqê. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Erî-kari Fêqê's parks.

Erî-kari Fêqê has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Erî-kari Fêqê.

Erî-kari Fêqê has an Theological Academy which trains clergy in various arcane and theological topics required for their occupations.

Erî-kari Fêqê possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Erî-kari Fêqê's grid is powered by a boiler and turbine based power plant.

Erî-kari Fêqê has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Erî-kari Fêqê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Erî-kari Fêqê's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..

In Erî-kari Fêqê there is always just enough rain to be annoying.
